Zsolt was born and raised in Maine, USA. His name is of Hungarian origin.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Maine, he traveled around the world hungry to explore and learn. His most memorable moments include 5 months of dog handling in northern Sweden, freediving to 20m in 40m visibility in Taiwan, coaching and playing soccer in Hungary, and learning kung fu in China.
While in Taiwan, he began his acting career as a commercial actor. His first big project was playing a Steve Jobs (Steve Shobs) for a farce ad for shoppee.com. He also learned wire rigging, wire work, and on camera action fighting skills there on a government sponsored program.
In 2021, he moved to NYC to train at the Maggie Flanagan Studio conservatory program with Charlie Sandlin. In 2024, he completed the Shakespeare Month-long Intensive at Shakespeare & Co. He is currently furthering his training with Stephen von Dorn in the Warner Loughlin Technique. He is enjoys all approaches to acting.
He trains stage combat with Academy of Theatrical Combat in Los Angeles.
His character range and types: brooding man, heart throb, playboy, sex threat, misogynist, and lovable clown.
He is fully fluent in Hungarian and English; and intermediate in German.
Zsolt has experienced success also as a film maker. His short psychological thriller film, "A Beautiful Life”, which was shot and set in Vac, Hungary, has won several awards including best actor, best short film, and best performance in several festivals.
He has a few ideas in the pipeline, including “Unconditional Love”, which will be a feature film.
